Samara Drivers

Vehicle & Drivers Policy

Before operating this vehicle for the first time, please review the following driver's safety training and sign this page to acknowledge you have reviewed this packet and understand Samara's safe-driving expectations. This Training must be reviewed every time you operate a different Samara vehicle, and you must sign this form acknowledging that you've received this training material. If you are involved in an accident and have not signed this binder, you may lose your driving rights as a Samara employee. If you are involved in a vehicle accident while operating a Samara Company Vehicle, you must follow the below steps. I have reviewed the driver's safety training herein, and understand what is expected from me when operating a Samara vehicle, as well as incident response and reporting expectations. 1. Try to remain calm and be professional. You are still representing Samara. 2. Collect insurance and driver's information from the other driver(s) involved. 3. Evaluate damage to yourself, the vehicle, and any Samara property within the vehicle. a. Take pictures of any damage to your car and any car you collided with. b. Take pictures of the entire accident scene. You want to show which vehicles were involved, the order of collision, and the extent of damage to all vehicles involved. 4. If applicable, request a witness from the scene stay and wait for the police to arrive. 5. Check the area for traffic cameras. 6. Notify your supervisor of the incident, any subsequent schedule delays, damages, or injuries. 7. All safety incidents (including vehicle accidents) must be reported to your supervisor and the office the same day they occur
